And We're Off!

Image

Welcome to the first post about our new "Anita Heady Fiber Arts - "Sewcial Studio"!  Our little studio is located just outside of downtown Athens, Georgia in a renovated cotton warehouse.  Our section of the building is called Mercury AIR (artists in residence).

This week we are slowly preparing our studio for a soft opening on April 11.  Thursday was painting day and Friday was flooring purchase day, and sign hanging day!   Here’s our sign, just below Marybeth Tawfik’s new sign for Cambridge Lane Long Arm Studio.

Our studios are across the hall from each other.  For good directions to the Chast St. Park Warehouse building, please go to my website by clicking here, and then click on the Store tab.

Here’s the fabled “green door” next to the brick wall, and below is what the rest of the building looks like to the left and then right…

It’s a very long building with parking along the length and paved parking at each end of the building.  Wheelchair access is at the left end of the building.

Stay tuned for more updates on our progress, and thank you for visiting!
Warmly,
Anita
